“You are the Hero of your own story. The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are.”
~Joseph Campbell
Meet Catherine
As someone who also grew up with the experience of CEN, I deeply empathize with adults who have struggled with feeling flawed and broken. I can assure you, you are not broken.
The consequences of emotional neglect made life more challenging for me than it should have been. Although I’m resourceful and accomplished, I made some detours along the way, not fully knowing what was best for me. Through my own continuing process of growth, I have created a new relationship with myself and reclaimed what was missing for me. This inspires and informs my life’s work as a psychotherapist.
Before earning my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University, I worked for 20 years in human resources and operations management positions at large high-tech corporations. I know personally what it’s like to live a demanding, fast-paced Silicon Valley life and how those stresses can take a toll on our health and well-being.
Now, it’s my mission and privilege to accompany others on their healing journeys, to repair the damage of what didn’t happen for them in childhood and adulthood, to uncover and express their true nature, and to live in alignment with their authentic purpose in life.
